Exoskeletons

Engineering is developing in the modern world at an unprecedented speed every year specialists give us new surprises realizing the craziest ideas and fantasies. Regular viewers of our blog are already familiar with the concept of an exoskeleton these are devices designed to compensate for lost functions and to increase the strength of human muscles.

Engineers around the world are working to improve the abilities of the human body they create structures for legs arms and even the whole body so that people can use them in space in rescue operations and during warfare. However, for some time no one thought how much the presence of an exoskeleton affects the carrier. The specialists of the Massachusetts Institute of technology started some studies on this subject only a few years ago.

Most of the tests were conducted in a capsule called the stride center. Soldiers put on exoskeletons and then they needed to do various tasks, in the course of the experiments it was found that the exoskeletons still have a long way to go. They should become more intuitive because now the very presence of an exoskeleton distracts people from their activities. At least these subjects reacted more slowly to visual signs than those who didn't wear exoskeletons.

Helmet fan
Safety regulations include wearing protective helmets on the construction site the problem is that they're made of synthetic materials such as polyesters plastic or reinforced polycarbonate. Ventilation hulls slightly increase the level of comfort, however, if the builders work in the hot season they have no choice but to put up with the discomfort.

So it was until the specialists of the Japanese company Tajima tool offered the world's simple but very useful invention. It's a fan that is attached to the helmet it promotes the circulation of cool air helping to cope with the heat more easily. The air flows move in two directions the first one goes right underneath the workplace, the second one goes inside the helmet, in addition, the fan can be equipped with a special fabric visor.

Mostly it protects the neck and face from sunlight and secondly, it changes the direction of the airflow so that it freshens your head on the sides.
